There is no kind of dress code at Genesis. You will see people dressing in a t-shirt and shorts, wearing a suit or dress, dressed in business casual, or even wearing some IU gear. We just want you to feel comfortable while you are here!

We run 1 service every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. Services last for about 1.5 hours. All of our kids services and nursery are open during this time as well.

We believe in teaching the deep truths of Scripture. Most of our preaching is expository—preaching verse by verse through books of the Bible. We also have several topical series throughout the year. Our preaching is grounded in God’s goodness, grace, and His desire to see all people come to know Him and be transformed by His love.

We have a great team that ensures our facilities are clean, sanitized, and ready for when you show up. We are following the Monroe County guidelines for COVID-19 precautions. Our primary focus is to show the kindness and compassion of Jesus to all who walk through our doors. And if that looks like wearing masks while we walk around, that’s what we do.

However, we are also not the “social distancing police” and simply ask everyone to be mindful and respectful of one another. Church is not a place for politics and we refuse to allow differences in opinions to bring division to the church.

Yes! We have an incredible Kids Church (G3 Kids) for kids in grades 1-5. We also have a class for younger kids age 3 to Kindergarten (Little Arrows) and a nursery for all of our babies and toddlers.

All of the kids check in at our secure check-in station before service begins and spend the entire service in their age-appropriate Kids Church room where they will have a lot of fun, learn about God and how to follow Jesus, and make lasting friendships with other kids their age.

We have a time of contemporary worship at the beginning of each service led by a live band. People express their worship in a variety of ways at Genesis. Whether you lift your hands in praise and sing along or stand in quiet reflection, you will find our worship to be authentic and easy to join.
